The mission of Little Star Community Organisation is to provide a safe and loving environment for orphaned and abandoned children, and to ensure they receive proper care, education, and support to become successful individuals in their future.
We also support the local community and local children and families who may be vulnerable and require support.
We want to make an impact, change the lives and future of our Little Stars. Our main goal is to buy a suitable home with land or buy land to build a home , then build an educational centre and also grow our own produce to help support feeding the children and local community. We want to teach the Stars valuable life skills to be successful adults and provide a safe space for them to thrive.
We currently have 19 Girls and 20 Boys to care for. That's a total of 39 Children.
We currently can only offer to take the children to a local school. The schools and feed are very expensive and have a lot attending. The schools have many children, some with up to 100 per class and over subscribed.
Ideally we'd love to open our own Education center, offering educational services for the local children having another option to learn and study.
During the day Anette is the full time carer of the children. Fred works in construction in order to earn an income which he uses to support the children personally. Fred then helps daily with chores, such as walking the school attending children to school , cooking , buying supplies in Town, operational tasks along with assisting anyone in the Community that approaches us for help.
All money received is spent on supporting the children and community 100%. We are a Non Profit. We use the funds to buy essentials such as food , drinks, mosquito nets, beds and bedding, clothes, shoes, school fees, Medical Attention etc. All funds are spent on the children and we are happy to demonstrate visibility of this and do our best to post this on social media to help earn trust of our supporters.
